Adirondack Rock and River
Thank you for accessing the web site of Adirondack Rock and River Guide Service and Lodges!
We operate a full-service lodging and guiding facility that is open to all outdoor lovers, year-round. We’ve been in business since 1988 and are located in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks, on the outskirts of the tiny mountain village of Keene, NY. Rock and River’s unique lodging consists of two Adirondack-style lodges that sit in a quiet mountain valley at the end of a country road. Options include individual rooms, family rooms and group rentals (up to 30 people). The facilities are very secluded and surrounded by thousands of acres of state-owned wilderness. Excellent hiking, skiing, rock and ice climbing are available, right from our door!
Rock and River’s Guide Service is the largest and most renowned within the region. We hire only the best area guides (see guide resumes), all of whom are licensed professionals that enjoy working with people and know the region intimately. Our facilities are unmatched and include an indoor rock wall as well as our own privately owned and operated ice climbing park. The guided disciplines include rock climbing, ice climbing, hiking, snowshoeing, and slide climbing. We also offer group instruction to institutional organizations (scouts, schools, camps, gyms etc.), as well as friends and families wishing to learn as a group.
We offer both Lodging and Guiding Gift Certificates. Call us to get one sent in the mail today!
