New Campground - Our new camping area is back in the woods on the side of a mountain. It was designed for groups that are climbing with us and are having a hard time finding adequate camping in the region, but it is available to other groups as well...It consists of a grassy area that is a 3 minute walk from the parking lot. A large fire pit currently exists. This Spring benches around the pit and at some point soon, a large pavillion with picnic tables will be built. Outhouses and a water spiget also are currently in place. 10 minutes further up the mountain are 2 wilderness camping sites and another minute up is our new leanto (with outhouse). This leanto has a cool view of Giant, is near a stream and is available to rent winter and summer...
